At Claudia’s Dayhome we will help you with your daily tasks in education instructing your kid in Spanish.
Claudia’s dayhome is a Spanish immersion dayhome serving Calgary -Cougar Ridge, Paskapoo, Coach Hill, Wentworth, West Springs, Aspen, Springbank, Patterson, Prominence, Montreux, Discovery Ridge, and Strathcona areas. Within walking distance of Calgary Waldorf School, and close to the Calgary French & International School.
30+ years of experience working with kids, including 13 years running my own dayhome. I have a Bachelor of Early Childhood Care and Education Degree, CPR-First Aid certification, and police check with a vulnerable sector search. I also have experience working with special needs children (Down syndrome and autism).
We help your kids learn proper social behaviours and develop self-control with love and respect. Physical and intellectual activities are provided through everyday games while giving instructions in Spanish. We also teach pre-math and pre-writing concepts learning numbers, alphabet, days, months, sight words, etc. Early stimulation program through shapes, colors, songs, etc., and completing a variety of age-appropriate crafts.
Weather permitting, kids enjoy our backyard during the supervised playtime; sometimes, kids are taken to a playground located three houses away from the dayhome.
Homemade food is provided (breakfast, lunch and two snacks) following the new 2020 Canada Food Guide.
Open Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. Accepting children from 6 months to 5 years old. Non-smoking house with fully equipped outside play area. No pets. Call or email to talk about child care costs.
