I am a mother to three beautiful daughters (1996, 2007, 2008). I received my degree as a preschool teacher in 1997 in my home country. Before I finished my career, I started working in childcare circa 1990.
In 1997, I started a new adventure with a mobile library going to many rural schools taking books and movies to the children in areas around the capital of the province. The adventure went only to 1999.
After almost 7 years dedicating time to my family, I revisited the idea of giving a hand to busy parents and their children. This is when I decided to open “Claudia’s Dayhome” in August 2007.
My emphasis has been always on infant, toddlers, and preschoolers. I have current Standard Childcare First-Aid and CPR, Alberta Government Child Care Certification – Level 1 (Bow Valley College). In 2010, IQAS (International Qualifications Assessment Service) homologated my education which compares to a BEd with focus in pre-school education. Police security clearance with vulnerable sector checks and the rest of the documentation as well as parents references can be provided upon request.
My goal is to offer experiences that will enrich the children lives through play.
